Inspired by a Bear
After feeling constantly frustrated by the lack of fun clothes for our colour loving son and struggling to find clothes that fit him properly, I started to look at alternative options to high street clothing.
I'm a self taught seamstress with a very supportive family, who turn a blind eye to my fabric hoarding. Each item of clothing is carefully cut and sewn by me. In my other life, I’m a registered Nurse specialising in Renal Medicine, and have the pleasure to work alongside a fantastic team.
I strive to produce high quality clothing at an affordable price. It is important to me that all fabrics I use ensure comfort and durability during playtime, whilst being gentle on sensitive skin.
The Jersey I use is a Cotton/Elastane Blend (95/5) with a heavier weight of 210-240gsm, making our clothing more hardwearing, but still breathable and incredibly soft. Our Bears personally test our clothing, and I’ve found prints are still vibrant after a rigorous playtime and multiple washes.
I have been working alongside some very talented designers to produce prints that are Exclusive to Little Bear Clothing, which means you can only find them here. In addition to this I also have a range of non exclusive prints that have been sourced from some wonderful UK based suppliers; many of which have designed the print themselves!
